Passage Dining Table
With a slim, asymmetrical, solid wood top, supported by two hand carved sculptural pedestals, the Passage table is a striking, statement piece, designed to be an elemental and sculptural presence in your home.
Inspired by the work of Barbara Hepworth and Richard Serra, the hand carved shapes of the Passage table soften and add texture and movement to an elemental natural material, transforming how the timber is experienced.
The two sculptural base pedestals work in dialogue with each other, one flowing into the other, the carved lines tracing the passage between the two elements, reflecting, yet also in contrast, to one another.
The asymmetrical form of the tabletop echoes the movement and curves of the base pieces, the precise and defined profile of the slim top contrasted by its organic shape.
The sculptural form and hand carved elements which are a signature of Modet’s work are here reflected in a less restrained, more organic and monumental form, which works as a beautiful complement to the elegant and slim forms of the Langford dining chair.
Each Passage Dining Table is individually made to order and can be customised to different finishes and dimensions, to perfectly suit your space. Pictured here in solid fumed oak, 4.2m long, seating up to 12 people.
